Confession #062
uncaged-mind:
Re-reading some of these posts I shudder. I can feel how I felt when I wrote certain things in the past. From last month. From last week. Like my insides get clammy and my knees quiver. I hate this traumatic rollercoaster I’ve been on for the last 8 months. How many more twists and turns and loop de loops and barf bags do I have to fill before I can finally hobble off and pass out...

That awkward moment when you realize that in all of 2011 about 90% of the people that liked you ended up physically taking advantage of you (which isn’t a very high number, but still…). Needless to say, I’m feeling pretty low.

Unpopular opinion time:
I’m not a huge fan of the whole “Born This Way” thing regarding LGBTQ rights.
People shouldn’t be accepting just because LGBTQ people were born that way and can’t change it.
If someone chooses to have a same sex relationship/hookup/etc or go against the gender binary, they should be accepted to.
This isn’t to invalidate or trivialize...

I hope you all are having a lovely Sunday, or at least are able to get a little happiness today whichever way you can.
Personally, I got a little blessings check today. I bitch about my family a lot on here (or so it seems), and I rarely talk about how wonderful they inherently are.
My mom always outdoes herself on Christmas. I hate to sound all consumer-y, but she always gets the most...

I’m really fucking sick of men who pull the whole “but I’m a nice guy” deal.
No, no you’re not.
And yeah, maybe I am being a bitch. You know what though, I’d rather be blunt then pretend nothing happened. You treat a good person like a piece of shit, and that isn’t going to fly. Especially when you hurt someone deeply and then have the gall to trivialize...

Trying to talk about anything bisexual in front of my family is aggravating and really fucking depressing.
My sister’s the most accepting, and even she dances around the issue.
My dad’s started up with the gay jokes every once in a while. My parent’s friends all partake as well. None of it is malicious, but it still hurts.
Top it off with my mom brushing away the subject...

Ya know, it really eats at me how women are supposed to be so maternal and nurturing. If we don’t really like kids or want to get pregnant, we’re immediately seen as cold. I think that might be a part of why it’s so taboo for a woman to want an abortion—heaven forbid someone doesn’t want a child. Women are supposed to adore babies, right? Therefore, if she...

I’ve probably put at least 30 albums of music on my computer over the past couple days. I’m also sorting through and deleting stuff I don’t really listen to anymore. And I finally have whole albums instead of a few songs here and there (for most bands).
My resulting music library is fucking boss.
I am one happy camper.
